Election Day

Voting today was odd.  I wasn't just voting for my usual concerns or my own political views but for the views of my son.  The first time I voted wasn't really that important to me because I just had me to worry about.  This year was definitely different.  I thought about where my family will be next year and how each presidential candidate would affect our lives.  I voted for Jonah's future today and not only my own.  It made me proud and it also made me emotional.  I hope that no matter who is elected that God guides them to lead our country into something better and all that America is supposed to be.

Hi Ashley! I am from thenest....I would say voting for me was a lot like you. Having a baby coming soon, my mindset is just so different!

I completely agree Ashley! I felt the same way about voting for Avery's future.
